I wish it had options for what parts you see as a 1 star and other areas.Anyway customer service was amazing, product was amazing.However when it comes to pricing it was actually ridiculous. Let me start off by pointing out that a box to do it yourself (with their products) is $85 which includes the foam spray, the solution and the comb. Obviously this option wouldn’t give you a guarantee as they wouldn’t be the one doing it. Well, the fact the entire process with them which took less and than hour for each of my kids was $189. THEN you have to buy the extra solution afterwards too. It shouldn’t cost $112 to comb out someones hair ( I mean unless it took hours to do), it doesn’t even cost that much for people to get their hair done which takes much much more time and product. The other part which makes no sense is the do it yourself route gives you a bottle of the foam stuff, solution and comb. So why when you pay $189 you arent getting the rest of the bottles they used plus the comb? The lady wrote down how much of the bottle of solution to use when reapplying therefore I know an entire bottle wasnt used on each person. It’s a business, and you’re here to make money however your pricing seems to be swindling money from people. Not only was the do it yourself option not even offered as I was clearly overwhelmed and stressed on the phone, to my surprise afterwards I ended up buying 5 more bottles ($25 each) when in reality I should’ve been given the bottles and comb left from each treatment.The product and the fact of combing through is a very smart process and most can do it at home. I’d definitely buy the solution again and maybe the detangler, but I don’t think I’d ever come back to have my kids hair comb out for that price. I wouldn’t recommend anyone pay that much either.

My family was exposed to someone with lice, so naturally we were freaked out and wanted to be checked. Not only did they fit us in quickly on a Sunday, but Lisa was thorough, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Luckily we didn’t have it and hope we never do, but if so, we won’t hesitate to contact Lice Lifters in Toms River.

My daughter had lice. I took her to the pediatrician and was told she didn’t have it so we thought we were in the clear. But she kept itching and a week later I found a bug. :-( I tried the CVS brand — waste of money, did nothing. I felt so defeated. I decided to try Lice Lifters and it was worth every cent. Don’t bother buying a ridiculous box treatment because it never works… my kids came home with LICE!! I was tariffed because both my girl and boys have thick hair! Lice Lifters went above and beyond and took care of business!!! The nicest most professional hard working people I have ever met, my daughter has special needs and the way they handled it was seamless and gave me a sigh of relief… they gave us instructions and materials for post care as well… Worth Every Penny…. Thanks again Lice Lifters!!!

Before making my appointment I specifically asked if the treatment was really one and done and asked if I would no longer have to do comb outs afterwards. They said it was one and done and I wouldn’t have to do the comb outs. I took off of work and drove an hour for my family’s first appointment. The tech called and let me know she was running late but that she wouldn’t be more than 15 min late. I said no problem. After waiting 40 minutes she finally let me know she wasn’t going to make it. They offered me a discount to reschedule. Since I had no other options I took another day off of work and went again. At the end of treatment the tech handed me a paper that said I should do comb outs and purchase 6 bottles of treatment at $20 a bottle. So much for one and done. She assured me I didn’t have to do the comb outs because the infestation wasn’t bad. I saw they had the solution on Amazon at the same price, so I only bought 1 bottle to start and figured I’d buy more as I needed. At no point was I told this would void my guarantee. A couple of weeks later I made an appointment for us all to get checked again because my head was itching. I asked if I’d be charged for the head check and I was told no because of the guarantee. When we finished our head check (none of us had lice) I went to buy a bottle of mint detangler and to my surprise I was being charged for the head checks! I told Rebecca I thought it was free with the guarantee. She said I had no guarantee because I didn’t buy all of the bottles of solution and because not everyone in my household was treated. I told her I bought an additional 3 bottles of solution and could show her my receipts and despite my young children, their father and I split up and that was everyone in my household. She didn’t offer to do anything for me and charged me the full price. So messed up!

I was very upset when I found out that my daughter had lice, didn’t know what to do and then I found lice lifters on the Internet. The lady Karen that I spoke with was extremely informative very helpful and put my mind at ease , and their system and their products WORK !!!! Last Wednesday I received the dreaded phone call from the school nurse telling me my six year old daughter had lice. I was completely overwhelmed never having dealt with it before. I knew I needed help. I called my pediatrician and she recommended Lice Lifters. I called from the school nurse’s office at 3:00 in a panic and Brooke answered the phone. She was so sweet and kind from her first words. She told me I could come right over and she would take care of her. The nightmare continued as it turned out that I also had lice. Brooke rearranged her own personal schedule to take care of me and my family. She worked with us from 4:00-8:00. She was kind, reassuring, gentle and made a nightmare situation comfortable. She educated me , explained how to clean my house and made me laugh numerous times. I am so thankful for Lice Lifters and Brooke and can’t thank her enough for all she did for me and my family last night. We left there lice free and able to return to school and work the next day!! Thank you!!

Ugh LICE!! What was a traumatic and painful ordeal was less painful and less traumatic thanks to Lice Lifters. Brought my daughter in on 9/14/19 and Lisa took care of us and what a great job she did! She was so kind,and thoughtful and considerate of my daughter and her needs! I also purchased the family kit for the rest of my family and that was a life saver! I totally panicked when the school called saying my daughter had lice. I went to buy over the counter treatment and I am so glad I went to Lice Lifters instead! Tracy was amazing! She was so calm, and was explaining everything to us. She is great! I am so glad I went because it turns out my daughter didnt even have any lice! what a relief! and what a Life Saver, Life Liters and Tracy are!!

PRAISE LICE LIFTERS!!!Of course when I got the call from the school nurse, every pore on my back popped out a bead of sweat and my scalp was just itchy all over. In a panic, I called and was assured that my son could be seen right away. Upon entering the facility, all worries dissolve. I was reassured that I WASN’T a nasty-stank-nasty mom and these things happen more often than one thinks! There were plenty of books on all reading levels, so that the children can fully understand what’s happening to them and to not feel bad for it in ANY kind of way. The staff was BEYOND THOROUGH with my son’s hair. We were, offered snacks, refreshments, Netflix and my son was just as happy as a clam, playing his hand held game as she worked on my son’s hair.Being a woman of color, I thought MY coif was going to be a challenge, but they were gentle and BEYOND THOROUGH. This lady knows hair and her subject matter VERY WELL. She was a wellspring of knowledge and advice when it came to getting your home up to snuff to confirm these uninvited guests are no longer habituating in your domain.Post-treatment instructions were simple to follow and you get plenty of product.Needless to say, not only are we lice free, but I was able to get a full refund through my health insurance.

we didnt have a good experience or reliable results from here, lice headquarters In Lakewood has a true guarantee without the catch 22, you actually leave clear with no living lice still, there’s a free follow up visit 5-15 days after you go And 75% cheaper, they give you their full attention, dont laugh in your face & dont make up anything for profit & milk the situation for additional ….

Great experience with Lisa. I was completely overwhelmed and upset when I found out my 6 year old had lice. She showed me the nits and we learned about the life cycle how to prevent them and what to do and put me and her completely at ease after an unbearable weekend. I found this place online and I highly recommend her. Im so grateful they are here! My daughters smile was worth every cent.

We treated my daughter at home twice (and I wasn’t happy about using chemicals!!!) and when she wasn’t cleared to go back to school, I decided it was time to let the pros do it! Tried every over the counter meds possible and nothing worked. Took my son Benjamin to Lice Lifters Ocean County, where he was treated by Ashley Jacob, and she was excellent. Very knowledgable, professional and friendly. She was wonderful with kids as well. She did such a good job and Benjamin has not gotten it back at all! Highly recommend this location!

Superb friendly service! No one like to think about dealing with head lice, but anyone with children can tell you it’s inevitable. The owner and technician were so friendly and really put us at ease. My daughter, who tends to get nervous, was made to feel totally comfortable. They even have wifi to keep the little ones occupied. Definitely recommend. I’m a very happy customer.
